"to commemorate 20 years of putting up with each other, cathy and i decided to get matching tattoos at ricky sta ana's "skinworkz" tattoo studio at cartimar manila. the cool thing about it was that not only was the tattoo done by ricky himself (president of the phil tattoo artists guild) but also cathy got interviewed by a television crew that was incidentally there to do a segment with ricky. way too cool!"

frances reviews the top five videos for the past year. i started this vlog without really having any real goal other than to share moments of my life to friends and family in a relatively fun way. getting more than 30 views in average is actually more than i could hope for, because thats way more than my target audience.

manila blues clinic highlights

i am a HUUUGE blues fan. and as embarrassing as it is, this is the first ever blues clinic and concert ive attended. for some reason there is no thriving blues scene in the south (oh the irony) and i had to travel 30kms to watch and attend events like these. these are the highlights of the clinic and the concert that followed afterwards. the blues is well and live in manila!

roller blades of glory

frances has been bugging me and cathy for roller blades for her 8th birthday. i hesistate because i equate wheeled shoes to things like accidents and bruises. but persistence has won and me and cathy finally gave in.

internal organ puns at the nido science discovery center

drove cathy to a work event at the sofitel hotel. frances and i went to the nido science discovery center at the mall of asia to kill time. i honestly wouldnt recommend it, the facilities are not well maintained and some of the exhibits are quite lame. the only thing i "discovered" was that for 300+ pesos a ticket, its definitely not worth the money. the plantetarium was cool though and frances and i did have fun goofing around while we waited for cathy.

frances saw these huge geeky glasses in the mall today and was inspired to teach us the etymology of common words. quick shout out to the mayor of muntinlupa for strictly enforcing the "no plastics campaign in the city. long overdue, but i am sure glad its in effect!
